The Partnership is a new collaboration representing the interests and goals of several funding partners including the Padilla Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, Padilla Bay Foundation, Skagit Marine Resources Committee, Friends of Skagit Beaches, and the Skagit County Clean Water Program. Our mission is to build a sense of pride and protection for Salish Sea coastal and marine environments, and enhance the collective impact of our work through increased citizen capacity.
While the Partnership is new it includes several established groups you may already be familiar with, the MRC Salish Sea Stewards and Beach Naturalists, the Padilla Bay Volunteers, and former WSU Skagit Beach Watchers. If you're not already a volunteer with one of these groups, come find out how you can get involved and become a part of an incredible volunteer team. Catherine will share the exciting volunteer training and other opportunites planned for 2015.
