\nThe Partnership is a new collaboration repres enting the interests and goals of several funding partners including the P adilla Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve\, Padilla Bay Foundation\, Skagit Marine Resources Committee\, Friends of Skagit Beaches\, and the Sk agit County Clean Water Program. Our mission is to build a sense of pride and protection for Salish Sea coastal and marine environments\, and enhanc e the collective impact of our work through increased citizen capacity.
\nWhile the Partnership is new it includes several established groups you may already be familiar with\, the MRC Salish Sea Stewards and Beach N aturalists\, the Padilla Bay Volunteers\, and former WSU Skagit Beach Watc hers. If you're not already a volunteer with one of these groups\, come fi nd out how you can get involved and become a part of an incredible volunte er team. Catherine will share the exciting volunteer training and other op portunites planned for 2015.
