Trail Tales Volunteer Meeting (Tue. 14 Jan, 2014 11:30 am - 1:30 pm)

What's Ahead for Trail Tales in 2014 – walks, events, signs and projects. ECOLOGY Baywide Cleanup update from Betty. Guest speaker, Gary Robinson, Director of Anacortes Parks & Recreation Dept., will talk about the establishment of the Tommy Thompson Trail and expansion of the Guemes Channel trail. Please encourage anyone interested in getting involved with Trail Tales to attend.

Please bring a brown bag lunch, we will have coffee, tea and juice, and take a break between the program meeting and our guest speaker.

Storming the Sound (Thu. 30 Jan, 2014 9:00 am - 4:15 pm)

Storming the Sound North is a conference for environmental educators in the north Puget Sound region, including the counties of Whatcom, Skagit, Snohomish, Island, Jefferson and San Juan. This is a great opportunity for teachers, environmental organizations with education programs, and students with an interest in a career in environmental education.
